What this is

The Counselling Institute provides educational courses that build communication and helping skills. Courses are not therapy, counselling, medical advice or clinical supervision, and they do not replace professional training or registration.

Completion records

A completion record shows that you finished the learning activities of a course. It is not an accredited qualification, and we do not independently assess practical competence.

Practice scenarios

Scenarios are fictional and simplified. They are for learning and are not a substitute for supervision or professional judgement. If someone may be in danger, follow your local emergency and referral procedures.

Your account

Keep your password private and do not share your account. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

Fees and refunds

Course prices are shown in South African rand. Until online payment is available, enrolment is confirmed by the administrator after payment is received. Refund terms will be published before payments open.
